A WEBSITE FOR PEOPLE
Accessibility Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Sidequest Studio aims to make this website and its services welcoming and usable for people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing part of improving the experience.
Our approach
The goal is to work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a design and improvement goal, not a claim that every page has passed a complete accessibility audit.
Features included in this website
- Text labels on inquiry fields and descriptive text for meaningful images.
- Keyboard-operable links, buttons, and project preview dialogs, with visible focus styles.
- Responsive layouts and reduced-motion styling for visitors who request less animation.
- Text-based contact options and a direct phone link.
Known limitations
Portfolio screenshots contain text within images, which may be difficult to read with magnification or assistive technology. Project titles and descriptions are provided as text, and live website links are included where available. You can request a text description of a project.
Consultation booking opens a dialog containing Google Calendar, with an option to open the calendar separately. If booking online creates a barrier, contact me by email or phone to arrange a time. The inquiry form submits on this website and displays a confirmation or error message. You can also email directly, copy the address into your preferred email service, or call. External portfolio websites are managed separately and may have different accessibility features.
Accessible communication and formats
If you need information in another format or a different way to discuss a project, please let me know what works for you. We can discuss a suitable communication option or an accessible alternative.
Feedback and help
If a page or feature creates a barrier, contact Samantha Pronovost at sidequeststudiossm@gmail.com or 705-971-0814. If possible, include the page, what you were trying to do, and the barrier you encountered. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or medical information.
I will review accessibility feedback, discuss an alternative where possible, and use it to guide improvements.
